Austin Health is seeking a Patient Support Unit - Planned Procedures Project Lead to improve access, experience and outcomes for patients undergoing planned surgery. You will lead pathway redesign, implement evidence-based models of care, and drive sustainable improvements across the perioperative journey.

Working closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, you will coordinate initiatives, manage projects, monitor performance and report on KPIs while applying change management

Qualifications

• Experience implementing evidence-based clinical pathways, models of care or service improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
• Strong project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex healthcare improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, change management frameworks and governance structures within a healthcare setting.
• Strong data analysis skills to identify trends, measure performance and support continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of key initiatives aligned with divisional and organisational priorities.
• Driving quality and operational improvements across the perioperative journey through pathway redesign and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery initiatives.
• Coordinating the development, implementation, education and review of evidence-based clinical pathways, policies and guidelines.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, performance reports and KPIs.
• Providing expert, evidence-based advice on operational, clinical and administrative processes.
• Applying change management methodologies to embed innovation and use data to inform decision-making and reporting.
