Job summary
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Ward 3 West - Day Procedure Unit. You will provide care across perioperative and fast-paced procedures, with after-hours on-call required once endoscopy trained.
This role offers opportunities to develop advanced perioperative skills within a supportive and multidisciplinary team. You will bring current AHPRA registration, 2 years acute nursing experience, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 years acute nursing experience required.
- Perioperative or Endoscopy experience highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills & clinical knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality person-centred clinical care.
- Support patients with dignity, respect and kindness.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure best practice
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
