Job summary

Monash IVF Group in Sydney seeks Registered Nurses for casual scrub/scout roles at Kent Street Private Day Surgery, supporting day surgery procedures related to fertility with a strong emphasis on patient care. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in theatre.
• Fertility setting experience is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service and patient care.
• Time management skills with ability to cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking day surgery duties including scrub and scout, and may include anaesthetic, admissions and recovery.
• Performing procedures within level of competency.
• Communicating with multidisciplinary teams to identify patient needs and implement care.
• Maintaining professional relationships with clinical staff.
• Complying with NSQHSS standards and reporting any incidents.
• Demonstrating commitment to Monash IVF Mission and Principles.
