Job summary

Western Health in Footscray is seeking a Registered Nurse – Perioperative to join the anaesthetics, PACU and scrub/scout teams. Fixed term part-time or full-time positions are available, with both ongoing opportunities and flexible employment status.

The role requires current AHPRA registration and Scrub Scout experience, with opportunities across General, Plastics, ENT or oral maxillofacial settings. Rotating shifts and weekend on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Experience as Scrub Scout is essential.
• Experience in General, Plastics, ENT or oral maxillofacial is essential.
• Ability to work rotating AM/PM shifts.
• Weekend on-call availability is expected.
• Postgraduate perioperative nursing qualification is preferred but not essential.

Registered Nurse - Perioperative Services

Position Title: Registered Nurse – Perioperative (Anaesthetics, PACU & Scrub/Scout)

Location: Operating Theatre – Footscray Hospital

Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, Ongoing

Salary per hour (exc. super): $43.82 - $54.41

Hours per fortnight: Up to 76

Contract: Fixed Term Part Time or Full Time

• Current AHPRA registration

• Ability to work a rotating roster (mix of AM and PM shifts)
• Ability to be available for weekend on-call
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

Entitlements:

• Salary setting range: AUD $82,236 - $103,280 per year, plus super and entitlements.
