Job summary

MAYDAY Healthcare is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the perioperative department in a private hospital in Western Sydney. You will oversee theatre operations, support nursing staff and ensure high standards of patient care in a busy surgical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a scrub background, strong leadership within theatre settings and current AHPRA registration, with a focus on accreditation and clinical governance.

Qualifications

• Strong perioperative nursing experience with a scrub background.
• Leadership experience within a theatre environment.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Experience with accreditation, quality and clinical governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the perioperative department and oversee day-to-day theatre operations.
