Gidget Foundation in Merrylands, NSW, is seeking Clinical Psychologists, Registered Psychologists or accredited Mental Health Social Workers to provide face-to-face psychological support at Gidget House.

Our perinatal specialist clinicians offer individual, couple and parent-infant therapies for women and partners, addressing preconception to one year postpartum, including depression, anxiety, trauma, or stressor-related disorders.

Formación

• Face-to-face delivery of psychological support.
• Perinatal specialization experience preferred.
• Ability to work within Medicare’s Better Access framework.

We’re looking for Clinical Psychologists, Registered Psychologists or accredited Mental Health Social Workers to deliver face to face psychological support at Gidget House, Merrylands, located at Stockland’s Centre, Merrylands.

Our specialist perinatal (conception to one year post-partum) clinicians provide a wide range of individual, couple and parent-infant therapies to women and their partners. In addition to preconception counselling, we offer services to those experiencing, or at risk of developing, perinatal depressive, anxiety and trauma or stressor-related disorders. Support is also provided to women and their partners who have experienced a pregnancy or childbirth-related loss, e.g: stillbirth, miscarriage or termination.

The service is delivered through Medicare’s Better Access Initiative and the remuneration for Clinical Psychologists, Registered Psychologists, Mental Health OT’s and Accredited Mental Health Social Workers is therefore the affiliated Medicare Rebate.
