Job summary

CMC Markets ANZ Growth Marketing team is seeking a detail‑oriented marketer for a 6‑month parental leave contract to drive paid search, social and affiliate campaigns across Google, Meta, Reddit and X. You will work with experienced teammates to deliver performance‑driven campaigns that grow our customer base.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in digital marketing with familiarity in paid platforms and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Eligibility to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring around 1–2 years in digital or performance marketing.
• A basic understanding of paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta.
• Analytical and curious with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Manage Social, Search and Affiliate campaigns (Meta, Google, Reddit, X) and optimise performance.
• Create and monitor campaign reporting and budgets across channels.
• Collaborate with Brand, Product and Creative teams to align campaigns.

You'll work across platforms including Google, Meta, Reddit and X, support campaign optimisation and reporting, and collaborate with our Brand, Product and Creative teams. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas, learn how marketing budgets are managed and develop a deeper understanding of performance marketing strategy.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Social, Search and Affiliates (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Quantcast, Google, Microsoft, etc.).
• Campaign optimisation.
• Campaign reporting.
• Finance processes including budget allocations.
• Engaging with key stakeholders across Brand, Product and Creative teams.

What Will Help You Be Successful?

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally curious, analytical and eager to learn. You enjoy digging into campaign performance, understanding what drives results and spotting opportunities to improve. You’re comfortable asking questions, taking feedback on board and learning from those around you, with a genuine interest in developing your performance marketing expertise. You’ll bring around 1 - 2 years of experience in digital or performance marketing, with a basic understanding of paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta. Most importantly, you’ll bring a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to get involved and grow your skills. Eligibility to work in Australia permanently is required.
