As part of our team, you will work on audits that examine some of the ACT Government’s most significant programs, services and public investments. You will engage with senior stakeholders, analyse complex information, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to reports that are tabled in the Legislative Assembly that can lead to real change.
The ACT Audit Office is seeking a temporary Senior Analyst for up to a year (with possibility of extension and permanency) with an annual salary of between $101,597 and $122,602 plus superannuation.

Successful applicants will be appointed within the Band 2 classification (Senior Analyst) based on their skills and experience under our Enterprise Agreement.

You do not need prior experience in performance audit. The key to success in this role will be your personal drive and integrity and ability to objectively analyse issues, evaluate evidence and write high-quality reports. While applicants will typically hold tertiary qualifications, we welcome candidates from a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds. A high standard of written and spoken English is essential.
This is a temporary position available immediately until 20 August 2027 with a possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future vacancies over the next 12 months.
