Job summary

JLL in Canberra seeks a Performance Analyst to monitor and enhance the WoAG portfolio, turning complex data into actionable insights. You’ll work with the Performance Director on reporting cycles, respond to RFIs and audits, and drive cost-saving opportunities while upholding contractual obligations and QA processes.

You will partner with relationship teams, finance, and government entities, contributing to continuous improvement and value-for-money outcomes in a government context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, finance, data analytics or related field.
• Proven experience in performance or data analysis with complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills including dashboards, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with trend identification.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quarterly and monthly WoAG performance reports.
• Develop and update Entity Operations Reports, Budgets and plans.
• Track KPI performance, identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate RFIs and audits with subject matter experts via Microsoft Teams.
• Manage WoAG registers for savings, innovation, discounts and conflicts.
• Lead continuous improvement projects delivering measurable value.
• Support AGPR data collection with BI, Finance and account teams.
• Oversee Quality Assurance for WoAG per contract and branding standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify value-for-money opportunities.

What this opportunity involves:

As a Performance Analyst on JLL's Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) account, you'll play a pivotal role in monitoring, analysing, and enhancing the performance of one of Australia's most significant property portfolios. This position sits at the intersection of data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement, where you'll transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive value for our government clients. You'll work closely with the Performance Director to manage quarterly and monthly reporting cycles, coordinate responses to audits and Requests for Information, and maintain robust quality assurance processes that keep our service delivery aligned with contractual obligations. An overview of the role:

• Prepare and submit quarterly and monthly performance reports for the WoAG account, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contractual requirements
• Develop and update Entity Operations Reports, Annual Business Plans, and budgets in accordance with deed guidelines and client expectations
• Track and analyse KPI performance across entities, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement through detailed data analysis
• Coordinate and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and audit processes by organising subject matter experts, compiling responses, and ensuring quality through Microsoft Teams collaboration
• Manage and promote usage of WoAG registers including Savings and Cost Avoidance, Innovation, Discounts/Benefits, and Conflicts of Interest, driving enhanced reporting and compliance
• Lead continuous improvement and innovation projects by reviewing processes for relevance, sharing improvements internally, and implementing efficiencies that deliver measurable value
• Support the Australian Government Property Register (AGPR) data collection process in collaboration with Business Intelligence, Finance, and account teams to ensure accurate submissions
• Oversee the Quality Assurance Program for WoAG, reviewing templates, reports, and processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements and JLL branding standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders across relationship teams, functional directors, and government entities to identify value-for-money opportunities and manage expectations effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Proven experience in a performance analysis, data analysis, or similar reporting role with demonstrated success in managing complex datasets
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data analysis, reporting dashboards, pivot tables, and data visualisation techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify performance trends, gaps, and actionable improvement opportunities
• Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
• Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Clearance and any additional associated Entity security clearances as required
• Previous experience working with government contracts, regulations, or public sector performance frameworks (preferred)
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools, software platforms, and business intelligence systems (preferred)
