Job summary

Journey Beyond’s K’gari (Fraser Island) People & Culture team in Hervey Bay, QLD is hiring a Recruitment & Administration Officer. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and related HR administration across Kingfisher Bay Resort, K’gari Beach Resort, marine operations and touring businesses.

You’ll support leaders in filling critical roles, coordinate inductions, arrange accommodation for new staff and contribute to employee engagement and internal communications, helping maintain a

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and HR administration.
• Experience coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using HR or recruitment systems.
• Hospitality, tourism or multi-site environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across resorts, marine and touring operations.
• Prepare and manage job advertisements across recruitment platforms.
• Screen applications and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Manage pre-employment checks, compliance requirements and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate employee inductions, 1st day arrival arrangements and accommodation requirements for new starters.
• Prepare employment documentation and maintain employee records.
• Provide administrative support across People & Culture processes and initiatives.
• Assist with employee engagement programs, recognition activities and workplace events.
• Coordinate internal communications, newsletters and employee notices.
