Job summary

The National Trust of Western Australia is seeking a seasoned People & Culture Coordinator to lead our people, culture, wellbeing and workplace safety initiatives in a 0.6 FTE role based in Perth CBD.

You will report to the Director Finance and Business Services and work closely with the CEO on sensitive matters, developing contemporary HR frameworks, policies, and workforce initiatives to support organisational priorities and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources, employee relations, organisational development or workplace wellbeing.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and WHS requirements, ideally in the public sector.
• Strong communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent judgement and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Developing and reviewing HR policies, procedures and workforce initiatives.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Coordinating employee wellbeing programs and EAP arrangements.
• Providing advice on employee relations, performance, workplace conduct and people management matters.
• Leading organisational development and workforce capability initiatives.
• Supporting managers to build effective teams and positive workplace practices.
• Coordinating WHS programs and compliance activities.
• Monitoring legislative/regulatory developments relevant to HR and WHS.
• Preparing reports and workforce information to support decision-making.
