Job summary

Alpine Health in Victoria seeks an experienced People and Culture Manager to lead the P&C team. This is a broad, hands-on role providing practical advice and support to managers and employees across Alpine Health, while staying actively involved in the day‑to‑day work of the function.

The role covers industrial relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, workforce planning, organisational change and rostering.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR experience with practical advice for managers and employees.
• Knowledge of enterprise agreements and employment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day People and Culture function and team.
• Provide timely HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation.
• Support workforce planning and initiatives to ensure the organisation has the capability and capacity needed.
• Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including interpretation of legislation and enterprise agreements.
• Maintain effective People and Culture policies and processes to support compliant employment practices.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes with managers.
• Provide oversight of rostering systems and workforce reporting.
• Coordinate workforce reporting, engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
