Job summary

FTI Group, an Australian family owned and operated company, is seeking a hands-on People & Culture Advisor to work closely with operational managers, supervisors and staff in Goulburn. You will provide practical support across all People & Culture areas and help resolve people matters early and effectively.

The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, close operation involvement, and contributing to continuous improvement of HR practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a People & Culture Advisor, HR Advisor or similar role.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment will be seen as favourable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of contemporary Human Resource best practice.
• Strong written communication, documentation and case-management skills.
• Ability to interpret workforce data and identify trends or emerging people risks.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with both employees and leaders while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Relocation funding is available for the right candidate who needs to relocate to Goulburn.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment and selection process across all areas of the business
• Coach managers to manage the people framework in their areas
• Assist in the development and implementation of our TRIBE training academy
• Lead and facilitate succession planning activities to develop internal talent pipelines
• Assist in HR reporting, analytics and continuous improvement projects
• Support in compliance, audits and HR risk management activities
• Contribute to consultation, organisational development, employee engagement and workforce capability
• Identify opportunities to improve our systems and practices across the people eco-system
