Bayside Health is seeking a Grade 3 Continence Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist based in Mornington Centre. You will deliver continence pelvic floor physiotherapy to adults and provide expert clinical services to the Peninsula Continence Service.

The role offers autonomous practice, opportunities to lead service improvements, and collaboration with a vibrant team of health professionals. Ongoing education and training are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration in Physiotherapy.
• Post-graduate qualifications or active pursuit of them.
• Extensive clinical experience in Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
• Excellent Women’s Health Physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge.
• Commitment to continuous improvement through quality and/or research.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Supports changes by adjusting work practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide continence physiotherapy services at The Mornington Centre.
• Deliver expert clinical services to clients of the Peninsula Continence Service.
• Lead and implement service improvements for best practice in continence pelvic floor physiotherapy.
• Manage a client load autonomously.

• Permanent Part Time, 40 hours per fortnight

• Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 3, Year 1 - Year 4 (VB7 - VC1)* plus super

The Team & Role

The Grade 3 Continence Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist provides continence services to the Mornington Peninsula based at The Mornington Centre. Services include Community Health specialist ambulatory clinic-based continence pelvic floor physiotherapy to adults.

• Ensure excellence in the provision of Continence Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy across The Mornington Centre
• Provide expert clinical services to the clients attending the Peninsula Continence Service
• Provide leadership and facilitate service improvements to implement best practice for Continence pelvic floor physiotherapy patients
• Provide expert clinical services to the Pelvic floor health population
• Manage a client load autonomously

Skills & Experience Required

• Current Registration
• Relevant post-graduate qualifications or working towards
• Extensive clinical experience in Women’s Health Physiotherapy
• Excellent Women’s Health Physiotherapy clinical skills and knowledge
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous and innovative improvement through quality and/or research activities
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Actively supports changes by adjusting work practices
