Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a seasoned Pega Senior Systems Architect to join our Sydney team. You will drive design, development, and implementation of multi-process Pega applications, ensuring robust architectures and scalable solutions.

The role requires a deep understanding of Pega concepts, strong system design skills, and experience delivering complex integrations in an agile environment. On-site involvement in Sydney is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science.
• Pega Senior Systems Architect Certification.
• Graduates from Australian Universities with no working experience can be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep understanding of Pega Platform, including debugging tools.
• Optimize performance using tuning methods and performance techniques.
• Implement functionality from high quality user interfaces to complex case management.
• Implement solutions that resolve complex business rule interactions.
• Design class structures to create reusable functions and features.
• Develop reporting and system integration solutions.
• Apply Pega design concepts and case principles with best practices.
• Analyze requirements and design components for multi-process Pega apps.

Basic Responsibilities

Work as team member in multi-disciplinary and dynamic team. Supports the analysis, design, development and implementation of systems and software,as well as the completion of other project work streams and deliverables. Mayalso support project modules or work activities as appropriate and can formulate solutions to defines/specific business or technical issues.

Specific Responsibilities

• Leverage deep understanding of Pega Platform including application debugging tools and features
• Optimize application performance by employing performance tuning methods and using system performance techniques and tools
• Implement a wide array of functionality from the creation of high quality user experiences to the development of complex case management requirements
• Implement solutions that resolve complex interactions of business rules
• Leverage deep knowledge of class structure design to create reusable application functions and features
• Implement challenging reporting and system integration requirements
• Apply Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and best practices on projects
• Analyse requirements, develop application designs, and construct the components of a Pega multi-process applications

Qualifications

Required:

• Degree in Computer Science
• Pega Senior Systems Architect Certification
• Graduates from Australian Universities with no working experience can be considered.

Desirable

• 4+ years of experience as a Certified Senior Systems Architect creating complex designs, developing reusable functions, successfuluser interfaces, and complex reporting and integration solutions for Pega multi-process applications
• Strong Design Skills
• Deep knowledge of Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and development best practices
• Track record of successful Pega application implementations that meet user needs
• Strong Understanding of System Architecture and Administration concepts
• Strong design and implementation skills in an Agile development environment
