IMPACT Community Services Limited is seeking a part-time Peer Support Worker to provide group-based support for adults with severe mental illness across Wide Bay, Fraser Coast and North Burnett regions. You will work 27.5 hours per week, collaborating with Mental Health Services to deliver recovery-focused activities.
Applicants should have a Cert IV in Mental Health (or be willing to obtain within 6 months), plus lived experience of mental illness and strong communication skills.

The Peer Support Worker is afixed term until 30/06/2027role (27.5hrs a week). This role is responsible for providing support to individuals aged 18 years old and over experiencing a severe mental illness (either episodic or persistent) who are accessing, or have within the last three months accessed, mental health clinical care through a Hospital and Health Service (HHS), and who are referred by the HHS. This support is delivered via group activities across the Wide Bay, Fraser Coast and North Burnett regions (HHS catchment area).
