Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service in Bundaberg invites applications for a Peer Worker in the Community Care Unit. You will provide intentional peer support and help with recovery-focused assessment, intervention and referrals across mental health services.

The package offers up to $103,601 per year, with salary between $81,649 and $90,801, plus superannuation up to 12.75% and 17.5% annual leave loading; permanent full-time 76 hours per fortnight.

Responsabilités

• Provide intentional Peer Support and model self-defined recovery strategies that support the assessment, intervention and referral of consumers accessing Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services across a range of mental health support teams.
• Provide consumers with education, information, referrals and support from personal experience of recovery and of utilising mental health services and non-government and community services.
• This vacancy is within the Community Care Unit.
