You will provide person-led, strengths-based support, help participants strengthen independence, and document progress while collaborating with families and partner services to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
At Wellways, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. As a Peer Recovery Worker, you will draw on your own lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery to inspire hope, build meaningful connections, and support people to achieve their goals.
Working within our Community Living Support (CLS) program, you'll provide practical, person‑led support that helps people strengthen their independence, develop new skills, connect with their community and build the supports that sustain their wellbeing.
As a Peer Recovery Worker, you will walk alongside participants as they identify their strengths, aspirations and goals. You will provide practical, hands‑on support that assists people to build confidence, develop self‑management skills and connect with their communities.
Working as part of an integrated team, you will help ensure participants receive consistent, high‑quality support while maintaining accurate records and documentation that contribute to positive outcomes.
You will be passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health challenges and committed to person‑led, recovery‑focused practice.
Provide practical, strengths‑based support tailored to individual goals and needs and facilitate programmes and promote hope, recovery and self‑determination. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, communities and partner services.
We encourage early applications as interviews may begin prior to advertising closing date.
