Wellways Australia seeks a Peer Recovery Worker to draw on their lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery to inspire hope and build meaningful connections. You will support participants in CLS, helping them strengthen independence, develop skills and access community supports.
Working in an integrated team, you will document progress, maintain records, and deliver strengths-based, person-led support to achieve recovery goals and improve wellbeing for participants in the CLS

Working within our Community Living Support (CLS) program, you'll provide practical, person-led support that helps people strengthen their independence, develop new skills, connect with their community and build the supports that sustain their wellbeing.
As a Peer Recovery Worker, you will walk alongside participants as they identify their strengths, aspirations and goals. You will provide practical, hands-on support that assists people to build confidence, develop self-management skills and connect with their communities.
Working as part of an integrated team, you will help ensure participants receive consistent, high-quality support while maintaining accurate records and documentation that contribute to positive outcomes.
You will be passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health challenges and committed to person-led, recovery-focused practice.
Provide practical, strengths-based support tailored to individual goals and needs and facilitate programs and promote hope, recovery and self-determination. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, communities and partner services.
