Job summary

NSW Health's Sydney Children's Hospitals Network at Westmead is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences IPU on a temporary contract ending 13 June 2027. The role offers a base salary of AU$81,748.17–AU$114,771.98 plus superannuation, leave loading and salary packaging, for 38 hours per week.

The Neurosciences Inpatient Unit is a 16-bed ward with an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, integrating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and allied staff to deliver specialised paediatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current Acute Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
