Job summary

St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is seeking an experienced and passionate PDHPE teacher to join the full-time ongoing staff. You will deliver PDHPE across Years 7–12 within a Catholic learning environment and support another KLA as required.

Applicants should have a tertiary Education qualification and NESA accreditation, with proven ability to plan, differentiate, manage classes, and integrate technology. The role begins 28 January 2027; closing date 20 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Must have PDHPE curriculum knowledge for Years 7–12
• Ability to teach within another KLA is an advantage
• Proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom management and positive learning environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication with students, parents and staff
• Ability to integrate technology to enhance learning
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management for activities
• Understanding of student development across junior and middle years
• Commitment to holistic wellbeing and healthy lifestyles
• Team player with professionalism and proactive development

Responsibilities

• Teach PDHPE to Years 7–12 in a Catholic school setting
