Job summary

Clarence Valley Anglican School in New South Wales is seeking an experienced PDHPE Teacher to join our Secondary team from Term 1, 2027 on a full-time basis. This role offers a pathway into leadership as Leader of Learning, while you continue to teach and shape curriculum, assessment and teaching practice; mentoring and support will be provided as you develop leadership capacity.

You will teach across Years 7-10 and Stage 6, including Health and Movement Science and CAFS, and you should be ready

Qualifications

• Experience teaching PDHPE in Australian schools.
• Proven ability to teach Health and Movement Science and CAFS.
• Strong classroom management and engagement across diverse learners.

You will still spend most of your time doing what you love, teaching and engaging students, but you will also help shape curriculum, assessment and teaching practice within your learning area. You do not need to arrive as an experienced faculty leader. You do need to bring initiative, sound judgement and a genuine desire to learn. Support and mentoring will be available as you build your leadership capability.

Experience teaching both Stage 6 subjects within an Australian school is essential.
