Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Payroll Team Leader in Ipswich, QLD. You will lead and coach a team of Payroll Officers, oversee end-to-end payroll for a large, complex workforce, and act as the escalation point for complex matters.

This role drives process improvements and supports system enhancements within a high-volume environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance while delivering transformation initiatives and ongoing payroll excellence in a busy Australian

Qualifications

• Proven experience training, supporting, and mentoring payroll teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge and technical capability.
• Solid understanding of payroll legislation, compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience interpreting Awards, EBAs and complex employment agreements.
