Job summary

Catalyst Talent Strategy Consulting in Canberra is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll operations, data integrity, and supporting payroll transformation initiatives within Australian compliance requirements.

You will work with CHRIS21, SAP, and Kronos, support system migrations and UATs, and collaborate with finance to deliver precise payroll reporting aligned with Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and superannuation obligations.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years' payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements.
• Experience with CHRIS21, SAP, and/or Kronos.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in payroll projects, system implementations, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll system data and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
• Complete month-end and year-end payroll activities, including superannuation and payroll tax
• Support payroll system implementation, testing (UAT), data migration, and process documentation
• Prepare payroll reports and respond to payroll-related enquiries
• Assist with Kronos system administration and continuous process improvements

We're seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a growing team in Adelaide. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll operations, payroll systems administration, and supporting payroll transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities
