The Role

ISS is hiring a Payroll Officer in our Sydney, NSW Office. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio within our payroll function, managing end-to-end processing and supporting employees across a dynamic division. Every day, you’ll help ensure compliance, accuracy, and great service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
  • Manage leave entitlements, overtime, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Handle queries related to payslips, tax, superannuation, and leave balances.
  • Apply knowledge of Long Service Leave across multiple States and Territories.
  • Process Centrelink Paid Parental Leave and Workers Compensation payments.
  • Manage payroll inbox and workflow efficiently, using Service Now.

  • Experience using payroll systems such as CHRIS21/iCHRIS, SAP ECP, Preceda, ADP, or similar (training provided if new to CHRIS21).
