Qualifications

  • Proven payroll experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and strong Excel/data skills.
  • Ability to reconcile superannuation payments and interpret awards/EBAs (desirable).
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and clear communication.
  • Collaborative team player with discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Review and validate documentation, timesheets, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports while maintaining accurate electronic records.
  • Respond to payroll queries and provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation opportunities and adherence to company policies.

The Opportunity

We’relooking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team during an exciting period of transformation as we transition from Preceda to Workday. Please note that this is a part time position for 3 days a week.

In this role,you’llwork closely with a diverse employee base and report directly to the Payroll Manager at ourEveleigh office.

Responsibilities
