Job summary

Bupa Australia is seeking a Payroll Officer to deliver accurate payroll services across the business. You will manage payroll transactions, maintain employee data and respond to enquiries while ensuring compliance with Australian legislation and agreements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Australian payroll processing.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven payroll environment.
  • A solid understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.
  • Experience using payroll and HR systems, with exposure to iChris, UKG Dimensions, Workday and ServiceNow viewed favourably.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.

The purpose of this role:

As a Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services that support employees across the business. You'll manage a range of payroll transactions, maintain employee data, respond to payroll enquiries and help ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and employment agreements, while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the payroll function.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail, building relationships and providing excellent customer service. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help ensure the payroll function runs smoothly and efficiently. What you’ll need to make it possible
