About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team at ASC Osborne, SA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of fortnightly payroll, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, ASC policies, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements. You’ll manage tasks such as processing time cards, salary and wage adjustments, reconciliations, payroll deductions, and maintaining employee records. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where precision, efficiency, and a commitment to best practice are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of fortnightly time cards.
  • Manage daily payroll operations and respond to related inquiries.
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant employee payroll records.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align payroll processes with governance standards and business needs.
  • Oversee the integrity of payroll systems, ensuring employee data is accurately captured and maintained.
  • Administer and maintain the IFS Timecard System, ensuring the accuracy of timecard and payroll data

About you

  • Experience in providing quality support within a Finance/People and Culture environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure with resilience while maintaining agreed service levels and standards.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Proficient in CHRIS21 and Microsoft Office applications.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
