Job summary

Clarity Partners, a Perth-based payroll and HR technology consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Payroll Consultant to join a collaborative team delivering end-to-end payroll services, upgrades, and advisory projects for a diverse client base.

This role blends hands-on payroll delivery with advisory, systems change, and project work across different client environments, offering hybrid work, ongoing development, and exposure to transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience managing end-to-end Australian payroll at a senior/management level.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, superannuation, and payroll compliance.
  • Experience with Tier 1 payroll or HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Managing complex end-to-end payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Supporting or leading payroll and HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Conducting payroll compliance reviews, identifying risks, and recommending practical improvements.
  • Advising clients on payroll governance, controls, legislation, and best practice.
  • Building strong client relationships while delivering practical solutions and exceptional service.
  • Supporting process improvements while coaching and transferring knowledge to client teams.

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Payroll Consultant to join their collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on payroll expertise with advisory, systems, and project work in a varied consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:
