Job summary

Cuscal is seeking a Payment Industry Compliance Manager to join the Payment Industry Compliance & Risk Enablement team. You will embed payment industry compliance frameworks across Product, ensuring regulatory obligations are understood and managed within an agile delivery environment.

You’ll collaborate with Product Domains, Enterprise Technology Services, Client Growth, Group Risk & Compliance, and external bodies such as AP+, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance or regulatory experience within financial services.
• Strong understanding of payment schemes, industry bodies and compliance obligations.
• Experience working within agile product or technology delivery environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing payment scheme mandates, bulletins and regulatory changes, assessing impacts and supporting implementation across the business.
• Managing compliance frameworks, obligations registers, reporting, audits, attestations and monitoring activities to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Building strong relationships with industry bodies and internal stakeholders while driving compliance maturity, risk awareness and continuous improvement.
