Job summary

Linear Clinical Research Limited in Nedlands, WA, seeks a Patient Services Assistant for a part-time role at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. You will deliver meals and hospitality to patients in the Cancer Trials Unit and support daily clinic operations.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–1:00pm, with emphasis on food safety, high service standards, and teamwork within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, hospitality, catering or healthcare support roles.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal selections and dietary requirements.
• Prepare and serve meals, beverages, tea and coffee.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Manage stock levels and replenish supplies.
• Receive deliveries and provide general operational support.
