Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs in Berry and Wollongong, NSW is seeking a part-time Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team. You will collect blood and other samples from patients, attend to care, storage and processing of pathology specimens, and handle related clerical duties with accuracy.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or relevant experience), excellent customer service skills, strong time management, and the ability to communicate with the collections

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure details are correct.
• Work weekday and weekend shifts across collection centres.
