Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs is seeking a part-time Pathology Collector to join our team in Corowa, Victoria. The role suits self-motivated individuals with keen attention to detail, excellent communication, and a focus on outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include collecting blood and other samples, handling specimen care and processing, and completing related clerical duties with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills and sound clinical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• A current Driver's License and rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
