Job summary

Dorevitch Pathology at 10 Village Avenue, Traralgon West VIC 3844 is seeking a Pathology Courier on a part-time basis. The role involves picking up and transporting pathology samples across medical centres, with a 22.00 hours per week schedule and a 44 hours per fortnight arrangement.

You will manage 30+ daily stops, liaise with clinicians via the Medical Liaison Officer, and ensure confidentiality and accurate documentation while adhering to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid open Australian driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Evidence of immunisation requirements including Hepatitis B.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle up to 10–15 kg equipment.
• Previous courier experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up and delivery of pathology samples and related items to multiple sites.
• Liaise between referring medical practitioners and the Medical Liaison Officer on orders.
• Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow procedures.
• Ensure correct specimen coding and documentation.
• Adhere to WHS and QA processes.
