Job summary

4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking an experienced Pathology Collector to service Lowood, Fernvale, Esk and surrounding areas. You will collect blood and other specimens from patients and perform ECGs and Holter monitoring as part of a busy pathology service.

The role requires venepuncture experience, ability to work both independently and within a team, and strong organizational and safety practices to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
• Experience in ECGs, ABP and Holter monitors.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team.
• Demonstrated organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance with Work Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples from patients.
• Perform ECGs, ABP and Holter monitors.
• Process pathology specimens.
• Handle clerical duties and process paperwork.
• Communicate with the team and referring doctors.
