Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs invites applications for a casual Pathology Collector in Kallangur, QLD. This role focuses on accurate sample collection, proper handling of specimens, and timely paperwork to support high-quality patient care.

Candidates should have a Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work weekday and weekend shifts at collection centres.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Sound clinical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
• A current Driver's License.
• Rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
• Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
