Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Services is seeking a compassionate Pastoral & Spiritual Care Practitioner to join our Maroochydore and/or Gympie Aged care service. You will deliver pastoral and spiritual support to residents, families and staff, working within an interdisciplinary team to nurture spiritual wellbeing.

Permanent part-time with flexibility, you will assess needs, develop care plans, and provide resources that respect diverse beliefs.

Qualifications

• Attainment of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) qualification, or equivalent training in counselling, theology, psychology or equivalent or a combination of study and work experience (essential)
• Willing to apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (essential)
• Willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a compassionate Pastoral & Spiritual Care Practitioner to join our Maroochydore and/or Gympie Aged care service.

You will provide professional pastoral and spiritual care to residents, families, support networks and staff, supporting the holistic approach to care that is central to St Vincent's. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team alongside other healthcare professionals, you will focus on nurturing the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of residents and those important to them.

Opportunities may be available at our Maroochydore and/or Gympie Aged care services. Each location provides a welcoming and supportive environment where residents and staff can thrive.
