Chobani is seeking two Night shift Pasteurizers to join our on-site manufacturing facility in Dandenong South. You will operate wet processing machinery, support starter culture preparation, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role runs 6pm–6am on a 6-day roster with training provided to get you up to speed. Ideal candidates have Pasteurisation experience, keen problem-solving ability, and the capacity to stay calm under pressure while contributing to continuous improvement and

Job description

Prior experience with pasteurisation processes is required for this position.

Pasteurizers/Wet Process Operators who will be integral to the manufacture of Chobani yoghurt, operating machinery in the wet processing area to the highest safety and quality standards. You will need to gain detailed knowledge of the machines and the process, as well an understanding of CIP and basic maintenance functions. You will also be able to assist with the creation of the starter culture and the inoculation of the yoghurt tanks.

We are looking for 2 x Night shift Pasteurizers. We are seeking candidates with a keen attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Chobani will provide all necessary training and qualification. Hours for the role are 6pm-6am (night shift) on a 6-day fortnightly roster, working every second Saturday, based on-site at our modern manufacturing facility at Dandenong South.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Produce yoghurt in line with the daily production plan and SOPs


• Operate wet processing plant and machinery across dairy rooms


• Support starter culture preparation and tank inoculation


• Complete quality, safety, and production documentation accurately


• Monitor materials and equipment performance to maximise efficiency


• Conduct basic troubleshooting, report faults, and assist Maintenance


• Minimise downtime and ensure equipment is left in optimal working order

Quality, Safety & GMP

• Ensure all product quality specifications and Pasteurisation CCP requirements are met


• Adhere to site SOPs, GMP standards, and "clean as you go" practices


• Promptly report quality or safety incidents and hazards


• Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements


• Execute CIP processes to site standards


• Maintain clean, safe, and shift‑ready processing areas


• Contribute to SOP development and process improvement initiatives


• Support and train team members on critical control points and best practice


• Provide shift‑level guidance when required and demonstrate Chobani values


• Actively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and performance
