Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd in Western Australia is seeking an underground paste fill operator to install and operate paste reticulation, air, ventilation, and dewatering systems at Granny Smith. You will perform inspections and coordinate repairs to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

This role requires experience in underground mining, with advantageous Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights tickets.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining operations in a service or paste crew capacity.
• Dangerous Goods Card and Working at Heights tickets are advantageous.
• Hands-on responsibility for installation and maintenance of underground infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain underground paste reticulation, compressed air, ventilation, and water/dewatering systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordinate timely equipment repairs.
• Support the team through handovers, technical guidance, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

• FIFO from Perth | 8/6 days, 7/7 nights roster at Granny Smith
• Hands-on responsibility for installation and maintenance of key underground infrastructure
• Previous underground mining or paste crew experience required

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will install and operate underground paste fill systems supporting safe and efficient development and production at Granny Smith Gold Mine.
