Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking an experienced underground paste fill operator for Granny Smith Gold Mine, FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster. You will install, operate, and maintain paste fill and related underground systems to support safe development and production.

This permanent role offers strong leave entitlements, site allowances, and a pathway to advance within a leading gold producer. Suitable candidates will have underground mining experience and relevant tickets.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining operations in a service or paste crew capacity.
• Current manual driver’s licence.
• Dangerous Goods Card and Working at Heights tickets are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain underground paste reticulation, compressed air, ventilation, and water/dewatering systems.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and coordinate timely equipment repairs.
• Support the team through handovers, technical guidance, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

• Hands-on responsibility for installation and maintenance of key underground infrastructure
• Previous underground mining or paste crew experience required
