Penske is seeking a Parts Interpreter to join our Distribution Centre in Wacol, supporting a national dealer and branch network with expert parts advice across engines, transmissions, and chassis components.

You will combine technical expertise with customer service in a fast-paced environment, helping dealers and teams solve complex parts issues while contributing to inventory and supplier interactions.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Parts Interpreter or similar role.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines or related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience with ERP, CRM or inventory systems is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical parts support to dealers and branch teams for engine, transmission and chassis enquiries.
• Collaborate with OEM partners to resolve parts identification and technical issues.
• Assist customers with vendor availability, new part number creation and order enquiries.
• Coordinate with warehouse to amend orders and provide shipment updates.
• Train customers on electronic parts catalogues and support tools.
• Contribute to inventory improvements and stocking recommendations.
• Assist purchasing in sourcing obsolete or difficult-to-find components.

Are you a technically minded Parts Interpreter with a passion for customer service and problem-solving? We're looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our Parts Distribution Centre in Wacol, supporting a national dealer and branch network with expert parts advice across engines, transmissions, and chassis components. This role combines technical expertise, customer support, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in heavy vehicles, diesel engines, parts interpreting, or aftermarket support who enjoys helping customers find solutions and making a real impact across the business.

About the Role

• Providing technical parts support to dealers and branch teams for engine, transmission, and chassis-related enquiries.
• Working closely with OEM partners to resolve complex parts identification and technical issues.
• Assisting customers with vendor availability, new part number creation, and outstanding order enquiries.
• Liaising with warehouse and distribution teams regarding order amendments and shipment updates.
• Training customers in the use of electronic parts catalogues and support tools.
• Contributing to inventory improvements and providing recommendations for stocking new parts.
• Supporting purchasing teams in sourcing obsolete or difficult-to-find components.

About You

You are a customer-focused professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and building strong working relationships. You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor, or similar role.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, or related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Confidence using computer-based systems and parts catalogues. Experience with ERP, CRM, or inventory systems will be highly regarded.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
