Job summary

Peter Kittle Motor Company in Australia is seeking a hands-on Parts Assistant to join the dealership team. You will be involved in parts handling, stock control, warehouse operations, procurement and vehicle preparation, with on-the-job training and support.

No previous automotive experience is required; a driver’s licence is essential and forklift training can be arranged for the right candidate. This is a practical, team-based role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be physically capable of lifting and moving automotive parts.
• Hold a current driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence preferred and can be arranged for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and unpack incoming automotive parts and stock.
• Identify automotive parts and components and ensure they are correctly recorded and stored.
• Record and assist with locating all incoming stock.
• Carry out storage and stock control procedures to maintain accurate inventory.
• Pick, prepare and help department employees fill orders for sale and dispatch.
• Assist with general Parts Department administration and stock takes.
