Job summary

Austin Health in Melbourne is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver a high‑quality clinical service for Young People managed by the Central Youth Community Team (CYCT). You will assess, develop management plans and provide evidence‑based treatment at individual or group level.

You will work with the lived experience workforce, manage clinical risk, participate in supervision, and ensure services for speech, language and communication disorders are delivered to CYCT clients aged 12–26.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering speech pathology to children with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Learning Difficulties.
• Recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed, family‑centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver clinical speech pathology services for CYCT clients.
• Assess, develop management plans, and provide individual or group treatment.
