Job summary

Cuisine Corp Australia is seeking a Part-time WHS Coordinator/Officer (2 days per week on-site) to support the development, implementation and monitoring of workplace safety systems across our Caringbah site. The role emphasizes proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and/or Diploma of Work Health and Safety
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a WHS role, preferably within manufacturing, food processing, warehousing or similar regulated environment
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments in a hands-on operational setting
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW), WHS Regulation 2017 (NSW) and SafeWork NSW Codes of Practice
• Understanding of workers compensation and injury management under NSW ICARE/SIRA framework
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement across all levels
• Proficiency with WHS software and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Ensure WHS management system complies with NSW Acts/Regulations and SafeWork codes
• Maintain and update site safety policies, SWMS, risk assessments and keep abreast of legislative changes
• Lead or support incident investigations, notifiable incident reporting, and track corrective actions
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement risk controls
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safe systems of work
• Deliver WHS induction and ongoing training for employees and contractors
• Support return-to-work and injury management with HR and insurers
• Track safety KPIs and liaise with regulators and insurers
• Support emergency preparedness, including drills and plans
