Job summary

New Lambton Vet Clinic is seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will lead and support junior staff while continuing to develop skills in a progressive clinic environment.

The role involves assisting with consultations, surgery, anaesthesia, and hospital cases, supporting day-to-day clinic operations, and providing high-quality patient care and client support. Mentoring juniors is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 4 years’ veterinary nursing experience.
• Confident across all general practice nursing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consultations, surgery, anaesthesia, and hospital cases.
• Support veterinarians and nursing team with day-to-day clinic operations.
• Provide high-quality patient care and client support.
• Mentor and guide junior team members when required.
