Job summary

The Royal Women’s Hospital is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Services Consultant in Melbourne. The role focuses on high-quality obstetric and gynecological ultrasound, including complex and on-call duties, within a tertiary setting.

The successful candidate will hold FRANZCOG or equivalent, with subspecialty in COGU or MFM (DDU preferred), and demonstrate leadership and teaching experience. Parkville location, AMA Victoria enterprise agreement-based salary.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
• FRANZCOG or equivalent.
• Subspecialty qualification in COGU or MFM; DDU is preferable.
• Professional leadership and supervision experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound services.
• Lead and supervise junior medical staff during duty periods.
• Participate in training of FRANZCOG, DDU, COGU and MFM trainees.
• Promote high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
• Contribute to emergency on-call ultrasound services as required.
