MacKillop Education Caulfield Campus is seeking an Education Support staff member to boost classroom learning and student wellbeing in partnership with a Key Teacher. The role may involve working with students individually or in small groups, supporting learning and behaviour within the program.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Certificate IV in Education Support or equivalent, and relevant experience in residential settings is valued.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in residential work will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and current issues affecting Aboriginal children and families.
• Qualification by Diploma or Certificate IV in Education Support or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Engage students in the classroom and support learning in partnership with a Key Teacher.
• Co-regulate with students when dysregulated and assist with wellbeing.
• Perform a range of administrative duties to support learning in the classroom.
• Work with students individually or in small groups across school programs.
