Job summary

University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ)–Springfield NSW invites applications for the Principal Business Manager (QC Labs). This 0.6 FTE, part-time fixed-term role leads the commercial growth of QC Labs, forging industry and government partnerships to expand impact and income.

You will drive governance and engagement frameworks, position QC Labs as a leading quantum technology hub, and liaise with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s qualification with relevant quantum/advanced tech expertise.
• Proven ability to develop and promote commercial research offerings.
• Experience securing funding and building strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen including IP and complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC Labs' commercial growth and strategic direction.
• Develop partnerships across industry, government and academia.
• Drive funding opportunities and research income.
