Job summary

Our Lady of The Way Catholic Primary School in Wallan East is seeking a Fixed Term Classroom Teacher to lead STEM learning across Years F–6. The role emphasises a contemporary, student-centred approach within a Catholic school context and involves collaboration with a supportive staff team.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging STEM experiences aligned to the Victorian Curriculum, contribute to school improvement, and promote safety and inclusion in a caring learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold VIT registration and be willing to obtain Religious Education accreditation.
• Commitment to Catholic ethos and active involvement in school activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff to support student learning.
• Proven ability to teach STEM within the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
• Strong communication with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver STEM lessons aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
• Plan, assess, and differentiate learning for diverse students.
• Collaborate with teachers to support school improvement and curriculum delivery.
• Uphold Child Safety policies and professional conduct.
