Job summary

Woree State High School is seeking a Marketing and Events Officer to develop innovative marketing and communication strategies and coordinate school events. The role focuses on showcasing achievements, strengthening community connections and supporting events that engage students, families, staff and external partners.

The position is 3 days per week with flexible hours, offering opportunities to coordinate notable school occasions and promotional activities while maintaining a proactive online

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organisational and creative skills.
• Experience in marketing or communications preferred.
• Ability to develop promotional material and manage campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school special events including Awards night, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Open Day, Study Tours and enrolment information.
• Coordinate production of school publications and promotional material, newsletters and website content.
• Develop and maintain online and social media presence to promote the school.
• Establish relationships with staff and external clients to support marketing and events.
• Propose and develop marketing strategies and initiatives, and improve systems and processes.
• Contribute to the school marketing plan and budget in consultation with leadership.
